Biography:
Hello! My name is Chrystal Wood, and I am thrilled to be Arrowwood's Principal! I've had the pleasure of being a classroom teacher, intervention, instructional coach, an Assistant Principal, and now the Principal of Arrowwood Elementary! Previous to AWE, I've had the opportunity to work in three different districts and with all grade levels. I received my Bachelors Degree from Baylor University, my Masters Degree in Reading from the University of San Francisco, and received my principals certificate through Lamar University.
I have an incredible family that I get to come home to every day. My husband, Brian, works at Mountain Vista High School as a math teacher and a basketball coach. We have two wonderful children. Carly Jo is is in 5th grade here at AWE! My son, JJ, is in 2nd grade here too! Our family stays very busy with sports, enjoying family and friends, and staying active. During my free time I enjoy hiking, running, catching up with friends, and being out in the sunshine.
I am really looking forward to this awesome learning school year. I feel privileged to be a part of your child's life during this year. I am here to serve your family, so please reach out anytime.
